While the University of Pittsburgh Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) receives funding through the National Institute on Aging, these funds do not cover all the research activities and educational programming that we provide to our participants and their caregivers.

Private donations are used to advance the studies of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Contributions are vital to our understanding of the mechanisms behind this debilitating disease.

You may donate directly to the ADRC to support and advance research studies, educational programming, and/or in memory/honor of a loved one. Please include the appropriate mailing information of whom you wish to have acknowledged along with your donation. All donors will receive a thank you letter from our office and a tax receipt from the Medical and Health Sciences Foundation. Donations are highlighted in our “Pathways” newsletter unless otherwise indicated.
